Job Description

Shrinkage hurts every fashion retail store; in Tembisa, you would be the one tracking it down. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is Tembisa-based, with most of your time spent at a fashion retail store. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What you'll actually do

Check receiving bay deliveries against invoices and seal numbers
Review CCTV footage to confirm suspected theft
Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour
Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy
Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial

What you need

PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
Discreet, observant and honest
Good report writing
Able to handle confrontation calmly

Helpful, not essential

Experience giving evidence in court
Previous store detective experience with case outcomes
Understanding of stock systems and shrinkage reports
