Systems Administrator (Microsoft 365 and Azure) – Permanent

A managed services provider in Midrand needs infrastructure that just works, and someone to make it so. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The work is in Midrand, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Handle access requests and keep records that support POPIA compliance
• Run and test backups, and do regular restore drills
• Review security logs and investigate suspicious sign-ins
• Work with ISPs on link faults and fibre installs
• Configure switches, VLANs, VPNs and firewall rules
• Document network diagrams and change records

• Solid TCP/IP, routing, switching and firewall knowledge
• Degree or diploma in IT, plus relevant certifications
• Willing to do standby and after-hours maintenance
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 skills, or Linux for Linux posts
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Clear change management and documentation habits

• ISO 27001 audit experience
• Experience with SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel or Wazuh
