Tactical Response Officer (Night Shift) – Permanent

Clients in a mixed-use neighbourhood in Stellenbosch pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Stellenbosch-based, with most of your time spent at a mixed-use neighbourhood.

• Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
• Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
• Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
• Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
• Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
• Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses

• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
• At least 2 years in guarding or response
• Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
• Calm under pressure and physically fit
• SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
• PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course

• Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
• SAPS, SANDF or reservist background

• Danger and night allowances
• Response vehicle and firearm provided
• Regular refresher shooting practice

• Put your firearm competency and armed response course at the top. Without both, the CV is not read further.
