Tea Lady / Office Cleaner

Early starts, clear routines and a steady contract at a corporate office park in Paarl. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll be based at a corporate office park in Paarl. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Report broken fittings, leaks or empty stock to the site supervisor
• Sign the ablution checklist on the back of the door after each clean
• Run a scrubber-dryer machine on large tiled areas
• Clean glass doors and internal windows without streaks
• Set up and clear boardrooms before and after meetings
• Clean the kitchenette, wash cups and wipe down the fridge and microwave

• You take pride in a job done properly, even when nobody checks
• Clean criminal record for most corporate sites
• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals safely with gloves
• Able to stand, bend and walk for a full shift
• Able to start early, often 05:00 or 06:00

• Previous contract cleaning experience with a reference
• Training on a floor polisher or scrubber machine
• Supervisory experience for team leader posts

• Uniform and cleaning gloves provided
• Permanent contract once the site contract is secured
• UIF and paid leave under the cleaning sector rules
• Paid overtime for weekend deep cleans

• List each site you have cleaned (office, mall, school) and how long you stayed. Contractors want people who stick with a site.
• Mention any machines you can use, like a scrubber or polisher. Machine cleaners are harder to find and often get picked first.
