Territory Sales Representative (Hardware Stores)

Shelves sell the product, and at this hardware and paint supplier you'll keep them full, neat and priced right. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The work is in Mahikeng, North West, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.

• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area

• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
• Speaking two or more local languages

• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Cellphone and data allowance
• Branded uniform and safety boots
