Job Description

Returns, assessments and objections all land on your desk at a fiduciary and trust company in Bellville. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll report in Bellville. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Keep client tax files complete for five years
Track filing season deadlines and send reminders to clients
Advise on deductions such as retirement contributions and home office claims
Calculate IRP6 provisional tax for individuals and companies
Register clients for income tax, VAT and PAYE

What you need

Neat, careful and organised with client documents
At least 2 years of SARS eFiling experience
Registered tax practitioner with a recognised controlling body such as SAIT or SAIPA
Clear writing for SARS letters and objections
Comfortable handling tax season overtime

Nice if you have

Postgraduate diploma in tax
Customs and excise knowledge for import-export clients
