Voice-Picking Warehouse Assistant

You'll keep a busy clothing distribution centre in Harrismith stocked, picked and moving out on time. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a clothing distribution centre on the Harrismith side of Free State. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker

• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
