Warehouse General Hand (Day Shift)

Every order that leaves this pharmaceutical warehouse in Midrand passes through your hands first. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Location: Midrand, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns

• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
