Warehouse General Hand (Day Shift)

Every order that leaves this spares and hardware warehouse in Vanderbijlpark passes through your hands first. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The work is in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns

• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
