Warehouse Picker (Night Shift)

You'll keep a busy spares and hardware warehouse in Pietermaritzburg stocked, picked and moving out on time. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll be based at a spares and hardware warehouse in Pietermaritzburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• You can read product codes and count accurately

• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
