Warehouse Picker (Night Shift)

You'll keep a busy pharmaceutical warehouse in Rustenburg stocked, picked and moving out on time. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is in Rustenburg (North West). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor

• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift

• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
