Warehouse Picker (Night Shift)

Every order that leaves this building-supplies depot in Rustenburg passes through your hands first. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is Rustenburg-based, with most of your time spent at a building-supplies depot.

• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes

• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays

• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
