Alarm Monitoring Controller (Night Shift) – Experienced

Sharp eyes and a calm voice are the tools of the trade at a vehicle tracking control centre in Fourways. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The site is in Fourways; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Monitor live CCTV feeds and zoom in on suspicious movement
• Dispatch the nearest response vehicle over the radio
• Track stolen vehicles on the map and guide recovery teams
• Pull and save video footage for incident investigations
• Answer alarm signals and phone clients to verify them
• Report camera faults and offline sites to the technicians

• Some companies give a typing and map test. Practise finding streets on a map quickly before the interview.
