Job Description

Shrinkage hurts every retail distribution centre; in Vereeniging, you would be the one tracking it down. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a retail distribution centre on the Vereeniging side of Gauteng.

What your day looks like

Tag high-value stock and check security tags at the doors
Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial
Check receiving bay deliveries against invoices and seal numbers
Record every incident with photos, times and value of goods
Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour
Help with stock counts and point out loss hot-spots
Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy

What you need

Good report writing
PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
Discreet, observant and honest
Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act
