Armed Response Officer (Residential Patrols)

When a panic button goes off in a business park in Brackenfell, you are the one who arrives first. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a business park on the Brackenfell side of Western Cape. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
• Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
• Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
• Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
• Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook

• At least 2 years in guarding or response
• Clean criminal record and no pending cases
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
• PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course

• First-aid Level 2 or 3
• Advanced driving course

• Response vehicle and firearm provided
• Danger and night allowances
• Group life cover through the provident fund

• Put your firearm competency and armed response course at the top. Without both, the CV is not read further.
• Bring the originals of your certificates to the interview. Armed companies verify them before a shooting test.
