Job Description

Build the SQL, models and dashboards that run the weekly meeting at a telecoms provider in Coega. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Location: Coega, Eastern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models
Present findings to managers in plain language with clear charts
Build ETL pipelines in SSIS, Azure Data Factory or Python
Automate weekly reports that used to take hours in Excel
Keep a data dictionary so everyone uses the same definitions
Write SQL to pull, join and clean data from several sources

What you need

Able to explain what the numbers mean, not just show them
Strong SQL, including joins, window functions and CTEs
Advanced Excel
Careful with sensitive customer data

Extra points for

Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or Fabric
Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst certification
