Job Description

You'll carry passengers safely around Hammarsdale for a school transport operator, on time and by the timetable. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a school transport operator on the Hammarsdale side of KwaZulu-Natal.

What your day looks like

Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable

What you need

Clean driving and criminal record
Patient and friendly with passengers
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Medically fit

Helpful, not essential

Fluent in more than one language
First-aid certificate
Tour coach experience with charters
