Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a fuel distribution fleet in Bethlehem pays for. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a fuel distribution fleet on the Bethlehem side of Free State. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What your day looks like

Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads

What you need

Passport for cross-border routes
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Medically fit, including eyesight
