Trucks come in heavy and leave loaded at this beverage depot in Bellville, and you move the stock in between. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a beverage depot in Bellville. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts

• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note

• Past work as a driver's assistant
• Basic furniture assembly skills

• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Route-completion incentives in busy months

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
