Frontend Developer (Angular)

Here your code runs in production, not in a drawer: a fintech start-up in Tembisa. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a fintech start-up on the Tembisa side of Gauteng. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Handle personal data safely, with POPIA rules in mind
• Deploy through a CI/CD pipeline on Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab
• Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
• Review teammates' pull requests with useful comments
• Pick up tickets from the sprint board and estimate the work
• Build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs
• Write unit and integration tests before you merge

• Experience writing automated tests
• Good SQL and understanding of relational databases
• Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
• You can explain technical choices to non-technical people
• Commercial experience in at least one of PHP, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript
• Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days

• Cloud certification on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of secure coding and the OWASP Top 10
• Docker and Kubernetes experience
