HR & IR Officer (Mining Operation)

Keeping a private hospital in Epping fair, legal and well staffed is the heart of this job. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The site is in Epping; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Track leave, absenteeism and sick notes and act on patterns.
• Update HR policies when labour law changes.
• Advise line managers on the Labour Relations Act and the BCEA.
• Coordinate training and submit SETA grant claims on time.
• Run exit interviews and report turnover each quarter.
• Handle grievances with notes, dates and a clear written outcome.

• At least 3 years as an HR officer or generalist
• CCMA experience, at least at conciliation
• Good report writing and Excel
• Solid working knowledge of the LRA, BCEA and EEA
