Job Description

You'll take customer calls and chats at a banking service centre in Randburg, sorting problems on the first contact. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a banking service centre on the Randburg side of Gauteng. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Process address changes, refunds and cancellations on the billing system.
Verify caller identity before sharing any account details, as POPIA requires.
Attend team huddles and weekly coaching sessions on call recordings.
Handle callers with UK, US or Australian accents and time zones.
Escalate complex complaints to a team leader with clear case notes.

Must-haves

You stay calm when a caller is angry
Clear, neutral spoken English and good typing speed (around 30 wpm)
Matric with a pass in English
No criminal record, as most clients run a background check
Basic computer skills: Windows, email and working across a few screens
Open to rotating shifts, including nights and weekends for offshore campaigns

Helpful, not essential

A Customer Service NQF Level 2 or 4 learnership certificate
Technical know-how on Wi-Fi, fibre or smartphones
