Job Description

You'll be the person who fixes it when laptops, printers and logins break at a hospital group in East London. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is in East London (Eastern Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops

Must-haves

At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
