IT Helpdesk Agent (Night Shift)

A call centre campus in Krugersdorp needs a calm tech who can help frustrated users get back to work. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a call centre campus in Krugersdorp. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
• Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
• Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
• Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
• Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
• Write short how-to guides for common user problems
• Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations

• Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
• At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
• Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365

• Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
• Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
• CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification

• Travel allowance for field technicians

• Be ready for a practical test on a real laptop or a phone troubleshooting role-play.
