IT Service Desk Agent (First Line)

You'll be the person who fixes it when laptops, printers and logins break at a call centre campus in Mamelodi. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The work is in Mamelodi, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
• Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
• Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
• Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
• Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
• Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine

• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
• Patient and friendly with non-technical users
• Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
• Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi

• Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
• ITIL Foundation
• Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management

• Clear path to second-line and systems roles
• Company laptop and cellphone

• Paid certification exams after probation

• Be ready for a practical test on a real laptop or a phone troubleshooting role-play.
