Junior IT Technician (Schools) – Immediate Start

Tickets come in all day at this corporate head office in Klerksdorp, and you close them. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The work is in Klerksdorp, North West, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
• Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
• Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
• Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
• Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
• Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
• Write short how-to guides for common user problems

• Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
• Patient and friendly with non-technical users
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365

• ITIL Foundation
• Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
• Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices

• Paid certification exams after probation
• Company laptop and cellphone
• Standby pay for after-hours cover

• Be ready for a practical test on a real laptop or a phone troubleshooting role-play.
