Job Description

You'll be the person who fixes it when laptops, printers and logins break at a managed IT services provider in Randburg. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll be based at a managed IT services provider in Randburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Write short how-to guides for common user problems
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system

What you need

Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi

Nice if you have

CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
ITIL Foundation
