Loading Bay Hand (Beverage Depot)

Trucks come in heavy and leave loaded at this beverage depot in Tembisa, and you move the stock in between. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Tembisa-based, with most of your time spent at a beverage depot. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks

• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• No criminal record
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips

• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)
• Past work as a driver's assistant

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Meal allowance on long-route days
