Warehouse Packer (Seasonal Peak) – Permanent

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a spares and hardware warehouse in Springs, and nobody minds if it's your first job. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is Springs-based, with most of your time spent at a spares and hardware warehouse. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets

• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• South African ID or a valid work permit

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
