Job Description

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a wholesale cash-and-carry in Johannesburg CBD, so shoppers find what they came for. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll report in Johannesburg CBD. Relocation is not covered for this one. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
Collect trolleys from the parking lot
Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves

You'll need

Able to stand and lift cases all shift
Grade 10 or matric
Basic reading and maths for price checks
Polite with customers and happy to help

Extra points for

Own transport for route merchandising jobs
Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
