Pick & Pack Hand (Online Orders) – Experienced

You'll keep a busy building-supplies depot in Bellville stocked, picked and moving out on time. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The work is in Bellville, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin

• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts

• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
