Job Description

Housekeeping keeps a self-catering resort in Mamelodi running quietly in the background. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a self-catering resort in Mamelodi. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What you'll actually do

Wash, dry and press linen and table cloths in the laundry.
Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.
Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
Strip beds, make them up with fresh linen and square the corners.
Update room status on the housekeeping app or board after each room.
Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.

You'll need

You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
Hotel, guesthouse or domestic cleaning experience
Weekend and public holiday work
Grade 10 or higher
You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings
