Job Description

This is a floor job at a busy mall coffee shop in Centurion where your tips follow your service. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

This post is Centurion-based, with most of your time spent at a busy mall coffee shop.

What your day looks like

Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
Restock the bar fridges and help with the weekly stock count.
Take orders on the POS tablet and read them back to avoid kitchen mistakes.
Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.
Pull espresso shots and steam milk for flat whites and cappuccinos.
Set tables, polish cutlery and glasses, and check condiments before doors open.
Split bills, process card payments and handle tip-outs at the end of shift.

Must-haves

Quick with basic maths and card machines
You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts

Helpful, not essential

Responsible Service of Alcohol training
Wine knowledge from a WSET Level 1 or wine farm stint
