Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a business park in Gqeberha, you are the one who arrives first. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The work is in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What your day looks like

Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests

Must-haves

At least 2 years in guarding or response
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Calm under pressure and physically fit

Extra points for

SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
Advanced driving course
First-aid Level 2 or 3
