Job Description

You'll run a shift of officers at a mining operation in Khayelitsha, keeping posts covered and standards high. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Location: Khayelitsha, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
Do surprise night visits to check posts
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records

Must-haves

Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Available after hours for emergencies

Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
